Spokane's Earth Day 2011

On Saturday, April 24, people gathered downtown between Browne and Division on Main St. to celebrate the Earth.

Bands played throughout the day entertaining the people at the event. Kids picked up hula hoops and danced to the music.

Vendors and informational booths took over the street. This booth had longboards made out of natural wood.

There were many arts and craft activities. This booth had body and face painting.

Raw honey was for sale. The children seemed to like having the bees out on display.

A few cars that people converted to be fully electric were on display.

Water was consistently being handed out to people as they walked around in the heat.
